MOHANLAL
Mohanlal was born in Elanthur in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala State to father Vishwanathan Nair, and mother Santhakumari, Mohanlal is one of the greatest actor India has ever produced, His acting is very effortless, and natuaral he got a unique body language, He worked with some of the best Malayalam directors and screenwriters, His first breakthrough came in 1980, at the age of 20, when a Malayalam production house Navodaya wanted to make a film with new artistes in leading roles. Mohanlal's friends sent his photographs to Navodya productions. He was auditioned and selected for the role of Narendran, the antagonist, in Manjil Virinja Pookkal
He won two national award for best acting, first one was for ‘Barataham’ and second is for ‘Vanaprastham,and a special jury award for film ‘kireedam’, He was awarded the Padma Shri, one of the highest civilian honours in India, by the Indian Government in 2001. Mohanlal comes across as a remarkably laidback and philosophical person in his interviews. He chooses his movies and plays largely based on instinct and likes to let things happen

MAMOOTTY
Mammootty (Muhammad Kutty)born Pannaparambil Muhammad Kutty on September 07, 1953. Born in Chempu, near Vaikom in Kottayam, Kerala, India to Ismail, and Fatima. Mammootty has always wanted to be an actor He made his first appearance on the big screen in a Malayalam movie 'Devalokam' (1979) but that film apparently never saw light, his first screen appearance was in Anubhavangal Paalichakal, But it was after eight years that he made his actual debut with Vilkanundu Swapnangal, He is the only actor other than Prem Nazir, who completed 300 films as hero in the Cinema world, Mammootty’s career graph dotted with highs and lows, Mammootty had crossed the boundaries of Malayalam cinema and acted in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English films
Best known as an actor, he received many major awards in his career, including three National Film Awards, six State awards and nine Filmfare Awards in the Best actor category. In 1998, the Government of India honored him with Padma Shri

MADHU
Madhu (Madhavan Nair) was born on September 28. 1933.His father, R.Parameswaran Pillai was a Mayor of the Thiruvananthapuram City; He started his career as a Hindi lecturer in Scot Christian College, Nagercoil, he was a student of National School of Drama, The screen name of Madhu was given by Thikkurissi Sukumaran Nair
His first film was Ninamaninha Kalpadukal, his best was his performance in Chemmeen his best was his performance in Chemmeen, Later he distinguished himself as producer, director and storywriter, Madhu acted in over 300 films, Even though he was a big star in commercial film, he was generous enough to act in parallel movies. He acted in Adoor Gopalakrishnan's Swayamvaram, P. N. Menon's Olavum Theeravum etc

Jayan(Krishan Nair) Jayan was born in 1940 in Kollam, Kerala, India as the first child of his father Thevalli, Kottaram Veetil Madhavan Pillai and mother Bharathiyamma, he is also known as the first action hero in Malayalam cinema, his masculine image and the nature of his death turned him into something of a legend in Kerala
His first film was Shapamoksham (1974). Jayan got his first major break with Thacholi Ambu (1978) in which he acted as a co-hero. What made Jayan a superstar was his negative hero role in Sarapanjaram (1979), Jayan always did the stunts himself .Jayan was killed in an accident on 16th November 1980, on the sets of the movie Kolilakkam. He was 40 then and at the height of his popularity.

Prem Nazeer(Abdul Khader) was born to Shahul Hamid and Asumabeevi in Chirayinkizhu a village in Thiruvananthapuram distric, He is quite popularly described as Evergreen Hero, He has acted in over 700 films and achived Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan, the role of Bhranthan Velayuthan in the film Iruttinte Atmavu as his masterpiece Nazeer and sheela played opposite each other in 130 movies by 1975,and it is a world record,He holds the record of acting in maximum number of films in a single year also holds the record for having acted in the most leading roles - about 700 films. His association with playback signer K. J. Yesudas was perfect for the audience. Even today many consider the Nazir - Yesudas combination of song sequences remains the best ever on screen Prem Nazir's son Shahnawaz also tried his luck in films but could not succeed like his father

Sathyan (Sathyanesn Nadar) was one of the first natural actror in Malayalam, he won the state award two times. Sathyan was born in a village of Tamil nadu. he worked as a soldier in indian army and as a police inspector before he starts acting, his first film was Athmasakhi, he become well known afte the film "neelakkuyil" The film became the first Malayalam film to win national recognition when it was awarded the Rajat Kamal.
